How to contact our team
We employ a wide range of specialist staff within the local Groundwork Trusts and Groundwork East of England. That blend of skills and experience means that we are well placed to take a holistic approach to many agendas.
We work at a small local scale on small projects and strategically as partners in larger programmes, such as ERDF and Interreg funded European programmes.
In addition to the roles below we have business development, project and programme management, fundraising, marketing and communications staff who work with the disciplines below to ensure the work we do is delivered on time, to budget and to a good quality.
Business advisers – technical specialists who know what’s important to businesses. They bridge the gap between the aims of environmental policy and the realities of local enterprise, cutting carbon and saving money.
Community project advisers – enthusiastic, patient and creative, they work closely with individuals and community groups to make change happen
Community energy advisers (Green Doctors) - helping communities to cut the cost of their energy, waste and water use and travel more sustainably.
Landscape architects – Groundwork is the largest employer of landscape architects in the UK. Our landscape architects combine design expertise with a real passion for making a difference at a local and strategic scale.
Employment & training specialists – skilled at dealing with the ‘hard to reach’ they strive to motivate those we work with and take them on a journey towards employment
Education workers – taking our work into schools, they have the skills to work with children and understand the language and aims of the national curriculum
Youth workers – working to get the most from young people, whether that’s helping them being included in the decision making process or developing their skills and confidence.
