Groundwork East of England is looking to develop new programmes and initiatives in parts of the region where it currently does not have a presence and where local partners believe that we can make a difference.
Often the scope for getting Groundwork involved comes through larger sub-regional and strategic projects e.g. European or Lottery Funding, or Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) where we can be one of a number of delivery partners helping to achieve real partnership impact. In such cases we may contribute new ideas, contibute to bid development, share best Groundwork practice from other parts of the region or country or add capacity to local management or delivery teams.
Groundwork’s development funding for this work is limited and is influenced by the ability of partners to fully commit and match financial resources to bring about change. Our area of focus currently is Haven Gateway,south Norfolk, north and east Essex and Suffolk.
