Some of the main initiatives we're running at the moment in South Essex:
A new project for local businesses in South Essex lauched this year. Five neighbouring councils have joined together to offer a major assistance programme for the small business sector.
Groundwork South Essex runs the GreenAiders project across South Essex, offering low cost gardening for the elderly and vulnerable adults who need assistance to get control of their garden.
A schools pilot project aimed at helping schools make behvioural change to cut energy use and reduce their carbon footprint
Green Scene is a reworking of our hugely successful Grow Global Clubs. On hearing about Grow Global Magic Cash for Kids was keen to support the scheme under the banner of GreenScene at East Tilbury Junior School.
This project is designed to help young people into employment through training; helping them to make the most of their own abilities.
