Groundwork is structured on a regional basis and we’re passionate about helping to create successful and distinctive regions.
We aim to align what we do with the regional strategy and work closely with East of England Development Agency and other sub-regional organisations. Some examples of our most successful regional work includes that funded through Investing in Communities:
In Bedfordshire we programme managed a £663k programme, Transition from School to Employment in 2008-09 after a successful first year.
In the Thames Gateway we managed a £400k community programme, Changing Places Engaging people over 2 years.
Groundwork is a unique partner because we operate both at the regional strategic level and on the ground within neighbourhoods. We bring a different perspective to regional working.
