How to contact our team
Our team of dedicated, qualified Environmental Business Advisors are working across the East of England delivering on site specialist environmental advice to businesses.
Since 2008, our team has visited and supported over 200 Small to Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) within Suffolk alone carrying out free in depth energy reviews. These audits have identified potential cumulative savings of over £401,000 a year and over 4,300 tonnes of CO²(e) a year for the participating SMEs. These outcomes have been achieved as a result of our working partnerships with the Suffolk Climate Change Partnership and Suffolk Coastal District Council.
In 2009 we teamed up with Colchester Borough Council to begin delivering Business Energy Reviews to SMEs within the Borough and within the same year we partnered with Suffolk County Council to deliver a North Sea InterReg funded programme known as ANSWER. As part of ANSWER we have developed a unique environmental business accreditation for SMEs in Suffolk known as the Suffolk Carbon Charter (www.greensuffolk.org/charter) which is having a high take up (see YouTube video below).
In 2010, Groundwork East of England was awarded a contract from REE to carry out free Business Resource Reviews to SMEs across the East of England. From March 2010, we carried out over 70 business reviews and were awarded the contract to run the Environmental Management System (EMS) Hub Club for the East of England.
In March 2010, the prestigious Suffolk Greenest County Awards recognised our outstanding work in helping businesses to improve resource efficiency by selecting us as runners up in the Best Business Product category.
Our qualified Environmental Business Advisors and Energy Auditors can be appointed to deliver resource efficiency services through the above services or through tailored specialist services designed with you, to meet your organisations needs. As well as on-site environmental reviews we are able to offer in-house training, business workshops and Environmental Management System support.
Contact our team on 01394 444257 today for further information. Alternatively you can contact the regional office on 01234 766058.
