Training for work and stimulating enterprise…
We have a strong track record of helping people who are out of work to gain new skills and find employment, in particular enabling those furthest removed from the labour market to build their confidence and prospects. Our main focus has been specifically targeting young people who are not in employment, education or training.
We were also proud to be part of the Government’s Future Jobs Fund, where we were able to offer short-term work placements to young unemployed people.
Location: Hertfordshire The Green Team is a sixteen-week voluntary training scheme for unemployed young people aged 16 – 25 with few or no qualifications.
Location: Hertfordshire Groundwork’s Green Skills programme is a voluntary short six week course that provides real work experience on landscape projects for young people aged 16-25 who are not in education, employment or training.
